mr. & mrs.

This is:. mr. and mrs. Thank you--letterpress cards using Glamour, and Bulmer Italic 5.12" x 6.7" on Fabriano paper and envelopes. With a 'sweet' heart dingbat and wonderful brackets. Using the brides theme color for the wedding, aqua blue. Delivered to them in a customized blue box.
Pakorn:. For my cousin's wedding in Arizona on July 31st, I decided to make them thank you cards. I was trying to visualize how/what to make them and I thought of this simple idea of using the Mister and Misses theme. This is super elementary but I felt that it expressed a pretty strong message regarding their commitment. This card was made with love, customized with care, and simply yummy! Congrats to the bride and groom.

This-n-that:. Diamond and Blue Spinel Ring, Edwardian Era (circa 1901-20)
Found and brought this in an antique shop about two year ago, I just couldn't resisted the old mind cut diamond and what looks like blue sapphires are actually the rare blue spinel. It was a pretty good deal too, that's when the economy was starting to tank and no one was buying, lucky I guess? It's exquisite, these pictures doesn't do it justice.

beading.

This is:. savory necklace. (top-bottom)
Rutilated Coin Shape Necklace, Unheated Round Shape Aquamarine [Blue Tone]
with faceted crystal, and Unheated Barrel Shape Aquamarine [Greenish Tone].

Pakorn:. Had these for over three years--plus, never really did anything with it. I couldn't seem to find the perfect claps for them. I brought them at different gem shows around soCal. I love the fact that these are semi-precious gem stone and to have thousands and thousands of carats around your neck is pretty amazing. I couldn't be more happy with how these turned out. I even learned how to do the knotting technique. The only thing is that, I keep dropping the Rutilated bead and already broke two pieces. I must admit that it kinda ruin my day. Not because it's like throwing money away... It just happened to be the most unique of the piece. Heck, they are all unique to me!

divinity.

This is:. Guan-Yin rock crystal quartz carving. Four centimeter high. Guan-Yin (goddess) is assocaited with mercy and compassion as venerated by East Asian Buddhists, usually as a female. The name Guanshiyin which means "Observing the Sounds (or Cries) of the World."

Pakorn:. It's been about a year since... I ordered this about a year ago, and it took that long to find the (crystal clear) rock crystal, carved, and find its way to me from China. I plan to make this into a brooch, Nardi "Blackamoor" style. Or those Christian Dior Joaillerie 'Kings & Queens.' It should look pretty cool, btw I have matching earrings and pendant too.
